My Thoughts
Being the proud owner of Canon EOS-R which is another Canon mirrorless camera I can honestly say both cameras share amazing features but differ in strengths and weaknesses. In my experience the features that make my EOS-R superior such as C-LOG, External 4K 4:2:2 10 bit recording I happily sacrifice for 4K IPB [Interlaced for small file size], Smaller form factor along with HDR video recording.
Simply put, the Canon M6 Mark II is equipped with everything you'll need for travel, vlogging, photography and more!!! It's basically a modern day mirrorless 7D that's better in every-way while being half the size.
